Parking terminals to monitor air quality
Parking terminals could soon be monitoring air quality in towns and cities across Britain as local authorities consider ways to tackle roadside pollution. Parking technology company Parkeon has developed a module for its Strada range of terminals that will capture air quality data and enable authorities to monitor levels of particulate matter and emissions such as CO2. Apriva, Metric release EMV-certified unattended parking payment in US
UK ticketing payment solutions supplier Metric has partnered with wireless transaction processing solutions provider Apriva in the US to achieve EMV (Europay, MasterCard and Visa) integration and certification. Metric parking terminals to be introduced in St Lucia
Castries, the capital city of Saint Lucia in the Caribbean, is set to begin installing parking terminals across the city as part of a new initiative by the Castries Constituencies Council (CCC), with the aim of improving safety and security in the city. WPS to deliver next-generation parking technology at Celtic Manor
Parking equipment manufacturer WPS has won a further landmark contract to provide its ParkAdvance technology for the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, Wales. London upgrades parking terminals
The London Borough of Sutton has started the full replacement programme of its parking machines, upgrading them to Metric Elite LS terminals via the ESPO framework. 143 new parking terminals are being installed across the borough in both on- and off-street locations.
