WPS has won a contract to provide its ParkAdvance technology at two car parks in the Princesshay Shopping Centre in Exeter and the city more generally. The technology is designed with the intention of enhancing customer experience and reliability.

Reading Borough Council and its partner NSL, who manages parking services across the area, has installed 79 new Parkeon Strada terminals to improve parking availability in and around the town centre. The system accommodates traditional pay-station payments, web enabled validation at the hotel’s reception, concierge desk, restaurant and gym and employee ID cards.

Mercedes-Benz Vans is investing US$50 million in new joint venture with US start-up Via to bring Via’s on-demand shuttle service, already launched in New York, Chicago and Washington DC, to Europe. The service will launch in London this year.
