French success for Wavetronix non-intrusive radar detection

Wavetronix, a worldwide market leader in radar traffic detection and monitoring, comes to Intertraffic with the story of non-intrusive radar traffic detection as a simple and long-lasting alternative for loops. The setting for this particular story is France, and the Direction Interdépartementale des Routes (DIR) agency which began moving away from intrusive detection technologies four years ago.

Poland’s Neurosoft boosts international presence

Polish company Neurosoft will be at Intertraffic Amsterdam to boost its international presence and highlight its NeuroCar product line which acts as a component for road data acquisition, as a state-of-the-art vehicle identification tool, or a turnkey system to meet specific needs. The company’s software technology has been chosen by the Ministry of Transport, Shipping and Communications of the Republic of Turkey to introduce a vehicle identification system in Ankara.
Tinynode’s vehicle detection sensors on show

Tinynode, a Swiss specialist in wireless vehicle detection systems, will use Intertraffic Amsterdam to introduce a new generation of vehicle detection sensors that will provide customers with greater value, stability and business continuity. This innovative sensor technology – called Series 4 (S4) second generation – is being integrated into the company’s A4 and B4 car detection devices, as well as in A4-H and B4-H truck detection devices.

Sensefields keeps a count of car parking spaces

A solution that reduces congestion inside parking areas, informs drivers where spaces are available, guides them to those spaces and optimise parking utilisation is being displayed on Sensefield’s stand in Hall 11. Called wireless parking guidance by area, the system works by measuring the traffic flow in the entrances and exits of parking areas to calculate the number of available spaces in each zone.
Radix Traffic features wired magnetometer sensors

Radix Traffic will be featuring at Intertraffic its wired magnetometer sensors, over 500 of which have been installed in the UK to provide accurate vehicle detection. Unlike conventional inductive loops, the sensors can be installed around 50cm below the road surface where they are protected from damage caused by bad weather and heavy traffic. Radix claims that once a sensor is installed it will continue to detect during its 15-year design life with no maintenance required.
Impact Recovery System’s SlowStop moves into the fast lane

For around three years Texas-based Impact Recovery Systems had been distributing the modular made-in-Belgium SlowStop Bollard, previously called SoftStop, in the United States. But since November, the company bought the world rights for the system from its inventor, Gerard Wolters.
