Latest Sony sensors for Matrix Vision cameras
Matrix Vision is to incorporate Sony’s forthcoming global shutter CMOS sensors, the 1/1.8-inch IMX250 and 2/3-inch IMX252, into its mvBlueCOUGAR-XD Dual-GigE and mvBlueFOX3-2 USB3 Vision camera ranges. Initially the 3.2 megapixel IMX252 will be available as the mvBlueCOUGAR-XD104h and mvBlueFOX3-2032, with the 5.1 megapixel IMX250 (mvBlueCOUGAR-XD105a and) mvBlueFOX3-2051 models available early next year.

Continental automates parking with 360 degree camera view
Automotive supplier Continental has developed an app that uses surround view camera technology to provide automated parking. Its prototype vehicle has four fisheye cameras – one in the front grille, another at the rear and one in each side mirror. Corruption corrodes confidence as ITS battles to improve safety
