Apriva, Metric release EMV-certified unattended parking payment in US

UK ticketing payment solutions supplier Metric has partnered with wireless transaction processing solutions provider Apriva in the US to achieve EMV (Europay, MasterCard and Visa) integration and certification. This has allowed Metric to offer an unattended EMV payment solution in the US through local partner Amano McGann.
Allied Vision launches new camera with latest Sony CMOS sensor

Allied Vision has expanded its camera range with the Manta G-895 which achieves up to 13.4 frames per second at full resolution. It is fitted with Sony’s Pregius MX267 CMOS sensor with a resolution of 8.9megapixels (4,112 x 2,176) and is said to have a high saturation capacity with very low noise, resulting in exceptional dynamic range.

French digital media solutions developer Charvet Digital Media has launched iGirouette, a directional and connected signage system, which consists of a mast with two rotating arrows, each of which can rotate 360 degrees. Each arrow has LED screens on both sides and the sign is connected to the internet, via a GMS chip or directly via a network cable, and remotely controlled via an online platform.
New Brightspark cycle headlight increases road safety

UK startup Brightspark has developed a USB rechargeable headlight, which it says catches the attention of other road users and aids road safety. The unit attaches to a bicycle’s handlebars with quick release grips and includes a headlight capable of emitting 300 lumens, creating up to 600 lumens of light per pair. Simple to recharge, a lithium ion battery holds charge for approximately five days of typical use.

The new product combines a pre-laminated inlay with two secure contactless chips, one working in high frequency and the other in ultra-high frequency (UHF), into a single card.
