Tattile launches new high speed compact camera
Tattile’s range of monochrome and colour smart cameras now includes the compact S12MP which has been developed to meet machine vision requirements. Based on the Xilinx Zynq 7030 image processing architecture, the camera includes a Kintex7 FPGA with 125,000 elements which is said to enable images to be acquired and pre-processed at high speeds. APT Skidata enables car park operators to create emission-based tariffs
UK parking technology specialist APT Skidata, a joint venture between Swarco and Skidata, has launched a feature that allows car park operators using an APT Skidata system to set individual parking tariffs according to the CO2 emissions of the vehicles. Smart LED traffic signals prevent snow and ice build-up
Canadian company Current powered by GE, has launched a smart LED traffic signal that can help prevent the build-up of snow and ice on the lamps. The new heated shell GTx low profile lamp is equipped with sensors that measure ambient conditions and automatically activate the heating elements on the front shell to help prevent ice and snow formation on the lamp.
