StreetLight Data forms M2 Initiative to measure traffic interaction

Chiltern Railway extends ticket free trial

UK-based Chiltern Railways is extending its ticket free trial from Oxford Parkway to London with two additional stations in Buckinghamshire until August 2018. New Flyer deploys sustainable transport to TransLink

New Flyer Industries Canada will deploy 58 compressed natural gas (CNG) buses to British Columbia to meet public demand for sustainable transportation. The order was placed by the South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority (TransLink). These vehicles will be used by TransLink's operating firm Coast Mountain Bus Company. The order comprises 47 CNG forty-foot transit buses and 11 diesel-electric hybrid sixty-foot transit models.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) will add 62,000 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid minivans to US company Waymo’s self-driving fleet in late 2018. The deployment is part of an extended agreement to expand Waymo’s transportation service. John Krafcik, CEO of Waymo, says the company intends to give passengers access to a self-driving service that will make roads safer. Additionally, the partners are now discussing whether Waymo’s technology could be used to develop an FCA-manufactured vehicle for retail clients.
