HMI subsidiary Ohmio is to supply 150 autonomous shuttles to a Korean company – an agreement which HMI says is the largest deployment of these vehicles in the world. New Zealand-based Ohmio signed the deal with Southwest Coast Enterprise City Development (SolaSeaDo), which is attempting to secure a contract to build a smart city in Korea and will know the outcome of its proposal later this year.

The village of Babylon in Long Island, near New York City, has introduced PassportParking's mobile app with the intention of providing commuters with an easier way to pay for parking across nearly 1,000 off-street locations. PassportParking says the app also allows users to monitor their parking sessions, extend sessions remotely, view payment history and receive email receipts. Navtech Radar has launched a sensor to complement its ClearWay solution and provide automatic incident detection (AID) coverage in highways and tunnels for 175m in both directions. Phil Avery, the company’s managing director, claims that the solution is ideal for applications where line-of-sight is limited.
