Egis to maintain systems on Poland’s A4 motorway
Poland’s General Directorate of the National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) has awarded Egis two contracts for the maintenance of telecommunication, traffic management and tolling systems on 162 kilometres of the A4 motorway between Wroclaw–Katowice in Poland. Middle East order for Gatso
Gatso, for which this week Sensys Traffic signed an acquisition agreement, has now received an order worth US$830,000 for traffic safety systems and back office consultancy from a new customer in the Middle East. The order involves consultancy to prepare for a complete back-office solution for processing traffic infringements, as well as the supply of red light and speed camera systems. Sensys Traffic to acquire Gatso
Sensys Traffic is to acquire Dutch enforcement company Gatso in a deal worth around US$33.9 million. Sensys’ acquisition of Gatso and the merger of the operations the two companies will create the largest supplier of traffic enforcement equipment with a strong presence in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia, as well as the North American managed services market. Dubai upgrades traffic enforcement
Dubai Traffic Police is upgrading its enforcement on the arterial roads of the emirate, including the six-lane Sheikh Zayed Road.
