NICTA shows BusPlus off-peak public transport solution
BusPlus, a ‘hub and spoke’ off-peak public transport option designed by National ICT Australia (NICTA) will be featured at the 2015 ITS World Congress. NICTA claims this service is particularly beneficial during off-peak times, when public transport is frequently inefficient, poorly utilised and expensive to deliver.

Faster reactions reinforce reality for Japan Radio’s simulator
When equipped with its full motion system, Japan Radio’s driving simulator is so large it wouldn’t fit on the company’s stand – however, ITSWC visitors can still try a static version of the system. ISS introduces Cyclescope bicycle detection feature
Image Sensing Systems is using the ITS World Congress to introduce Cyclescope, the new bicycle differentiation and detection feature in the Autoscope software suite. According to the company, the new feature enhances bicycle detection capability and adds the ability to differentiate between bicycles and motorised vehicles as they approach the junction. A significant advantage is that it doesn’t require additional roadway markings, product purchases, equipment installations or maintenance.

Nedap launches Transit Ultimate Microwave RFID reader
