Drivers in Abu Dhabi will shortly have to change their driving habits and refrain from slowing down as they approach a speed camera and speeding up once they have passed it. Austria’s Efkon Group has been awarded a contract from Austrian road operator ASFINAG for the upgrading of the national toll sticker monitoring system, Automatische Vignettenkontrolle (AVK). In an effort to reduce the high number of accidents on India's first six-lane, high-speed, access controlled tolled expressway, the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has decided to install a surveillance system involving speed cameras and digital message signs. London borough deploys UK’s first live unattended moving traffic enforcement

The London Borough of Redbridge is using the first unattended CCTV enforcement system for moving traffic offences in the UK. New York considers enforcement and AET on new bridge

The New York government is looking at enforcement as a precursor to all electronic tolling (AET) on the new Tappan Zee Bridge. This would provide for the automatic suspension of vehicle registrations for motorists who fail to pay tolls three times in 18 months.
