Indra to implement Kuwait’s traffic monitoring system
In a contract valued at around US$18 million, Indra is to implement a traffic monitoring system in Kuwait City on behalf of the Kuwait Municipality. Black taxis go green with government investment
A US$30 million fund will be made available to local authorities to support the rollout of ultra-low emission taxis across the UK. MIT study combines traffic data for smarter signal timings
Researchers at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have found a method of combining vehicle-level data with less precise, but more comprehensive, city-level data on traffic patterns to produce better information than current systems provide. Wyoming upgrades ITS with Skyline DMS
Skyline Products has supplied 19 walk-in LED dynamic message signs (DMS) to Casper Electric, on behalf of Wyoming Department of Transportation (DOT). New videos show operation of new Dartford Tunnel safety system
New animations have been released by the UK Highways Agency showing how the new safety system will operate at the Dartford Crossing. The videos show how the system that is due to be introduced on the northbound carriageway in May will identify and stop oversized vehicles or those carrying dangerous goods from entering the tunnels. UK driver information improvements near completion

Vietnam launches smart highway, ETC systems
