Bartco UK appoints new ITS development manager
Variable Message Sign (VMS) manufacturer, Batrco UK has appointed Matt Felce as ITS development manager, where he will be responsible for product development, testing and legislative compliance. Felce will also work with Australian sister company Bartco Traffic Equipment PTY’s head of research and development (R&D) David Chamberlain to implement a joint global product development strategy.

Georgia approves regional transit authority for metro Atlanta
The US state of Georgia is to establish a regional transit governance and funding framework for metro Atlanta. A new entity, called the Atlanta-region Transit Link Authority (ATL), will be created and charged with regional transit planning for 13 counties in metro Atlanta. RATP Dev London appoints new service delivery director
Kuldeep Nothey has been appointed service delivery director for RATP Dev London from 2 July. Nothey will lead operational delivery across three of the company’s businesses: London United, London Sovereign and Quality Line. He replaces operations director Maurice Bulmer and will report to Dev London's managing director Fiona Taylor.

Genetec showcases security solution at ISC West 2018
Technology provider Genetec unveiled a solution lets organisations use Internet Protocol (IP) cameras to identify and track number plates of vehicles entering or leaving their premises at ISC West 2018, in Las Vegas. Cisco has appointed Mark Garrett to its board of directors effective immediately. IAM RoadSmart appoints new chief executive officer
IAM RoadSmart has appointed Mike Quinton as its chief executive officer from the 23 April. The former chief executive of the National House Building Council will replace Sarah Sillars. He has experience in organisational leadership over three decades and has served in a range of finance roles for Prudential, Churchhill and the Royal Bank of Scotland. Swarco has acquired the majority shareholding in Bergauer Holding. The Switzerland based company develops and integrates intelligent traffic guidance and control systems as well as guidance systems for infrastructure and security projects. Triton acquires work zone safety services provider Chevron TM
