QDVC, a joint venture between Qatari Diar and French group Vinci has won the contract for the new phase of work in the light railway development in the Qatari town of Lusail near Doha. The government of Indonesia says it is working to reduce the number of road deaths in the country by 50 per cent by 2020 and by 80 per cent by 2035. Metric Parking, a subsidiary of Hoeft & Wessel Group, has been awarded a contract with the US city of Hoboken, New Jesey, to supply 135 car parking ticket machines. During a successful 10-machine pilot project last year, the city saw a 30 per cent increase in revenue and additional parking spaces.
