Two new temporary road marking tapes are being offered by safety specialist Snoline. Part of Lindsay Transportation Solutions, Snoline says that its new Tempoline and Profiline products are easy to install and offer high conspicuity.

Vendeka underlined the robust health of the Turkish ITS industry when it signed a multi-million dollar deal with the San Miguel Corporation of the Philippines, at Intertraffic last night. The contract is to implement Vendeka’s Hybrid electronic toll collection (ETC) solution in three major highways in the Philippines. The scope of the project covers three tollways, 60 plazas, 300 lanes and 200,000 RFID tags.

Visitors to Intertraffic will be the first to see the new Marwis mobile contactless weather information sensor from German company Lufft. Marwis can be mounted on any vehicle and provides mobile collection of road weather information including surface temperature, dew point and water film height as well as road conditions (humidity, snow, ice and frost), grip (friction) and other environmental data.

Trinity Highway Systems has improved its CASS cable barrier technology to upgrade its vehicle redirective performance. The CASS system suits applications in highway median installations to prevent crossover crashes. A key feature is the post design with its novel wave-shaped slot, which the firm says combines with the cable position to maximise vehicle restraint performance.
