Keysight extends C-V2X agreement with Gohigh
Keysight Technologies is extending its collaboration with Chinese company Gohigh Data Networks Technology to accelerate cellular Vehicle to Everything (C-V2X) technology for connected car applications. Toyota enters partnership to build HD maps for AVs from space
Toyota Research Institute-Advanced Development (TRI-AD), technology company Maxar Technologies and NTT Data are working together to build high-definition (HD) maps for autonomous vehicles (AV) using satellite imagery. TomTom launches OEM.connect programme
TomTom Telematics has launched its OEM.connect programme to allow vehicle manufacturers to connect with its telematics service platform. The programme will allow manufacturers to use TomTom’s fleet management solutions Webfleet and Nextfleet using vehicles fitted with connectivity systems. Fleet Operations has launched a reporting suite called Move Analytics which it says makes cost and performance analysis easier for fleet and mobility managers. Richard Hipkiss, Fleet Operations managing director, says: “Move Analytics saves companies time and money by offering smart, bespoke, reporting and immediate visibility into their operational performance." GeoTach now available on Geotab Marketplace
Connected vehicle company Geotab has announced the availability of GeoTach by Evestel on its marketplace to help fleets remotely manage driver and vehicle tachograph data. Cohda Wireless to supply V2X technology for Berlin test
Cohda Wireless is to apply Vehicle to Everything (V2X) technology at an open test environment for connected and autonomous vehicle (C/AV) technologies in the centre of Berlin. Ford partners with What3words to offer precise navigation
Ford has joined forces with geocoding start-up What3words to offer its drivers in North America and Europe with more precise navigation. What3words, a global addressing system, divides the world into a grid of 3m x 3m squares and assigns each a three-word address made up dictionary words. THEA tests connected vehicle technology in Florida
The Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority (THEA) in Florida trialled connected vehicle technology which it says could lead to collision avoidance in real life.
