UK reseller for BlipTrack Bluetooth journey time technology
Danish wireless technology company Blip Systems has partnered with Smart CCTV to deliver Bluetooth and wi-fi journey time, origin and destination, traffic congestion monitoring and traffic management solutions to UK roads. Major upgrade for Mississippi bridges
Four major bridges over the lower Mississippi are to get intelligent transportation systems (ITS) upgrades, thanks to a US$10 million grant from the US Department of Transportation TIGER (Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery) fund. Radar and laser detectors save wild animals, protect drivers
The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) in Ontario, Canada, where collisions with wild animals cost the province more than US$95 million annually, has installed wildlife sensor and alert systems to reduce the number of animal-vehicle collisions on its highways. Sensys sensors for Melbourne freeway

The latest multi-function inductive loop vehicle detectors from intelligent transportation systems supplier Reno A&E are designed to reliably detect all vehicles, as well as differentiating cycles from all other vehicles. Iteris reports first quarter 2014 revenue increase
US intelligent traffic management specialist Iteris has improved financial results for its fiscal first quarter ended 30 June 2013, with total revenues total revenues in the first quarter of fiscal 2014 increased by 4 per cent to US$17.0 million compared to US$16.3 million in the same year-ago quarter. The increase was primarily attributed to a 5 per cent increase in both roadway sensors and transportation systems revenues.
