Studies show HOV conversion to HOT improves transit
According to a December 2015 report from American Association of State Highway and Transportation officials, converting from high occupancy vehicle (HOV) to Express Lanes (HOT) benefits transit. Across the US, transit ridership and speeds increase when HOV goes HOT. Egis to operate and maintain India’s NH-7 toll road
Egis is to provide operation and maintenance for India’s National Highway 7 (NH-7), a 73 km toll motorway connecting Rewa and Hanumana in the Indian federal state of Madhya Pradesh. Under the three-year contract awarded by concession company VEPL (Vindhyachal Expressway Private Limited), Egis will provide toll collection, route patrolling and incident management and routine maintenance of a section of the 40 km stretch of toll road which has one six-lane toll plaza.

Growth of China ETC market

Dubai’s tolling call centre operations wins Smart Government Award
TransCore’s customer service centre operations of Dubai’s Salik Toll System took top honours for the country’s Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) at the recent Number One Government Expo. RTA was presented with the 2015 Hamdan bin Mohammed Award for Smart Government for Best Service Centre. Processing more than 1.7 million transactions each day, the Salik Call Centre competed with 28 other Dubai Government call centres.
