Groupe PSA and Nidec, through Nidec Leroy-Somer Holding, has entered into a joint venture to launch and sell a range of efficient traction machines to meet the needs of OEMs shifting towards electrified vehicle technologies. Quebec's minister of energy and natural resources, Pierre Moreau, unveiled a new public universal fast-charge superstation for electric vehicles (EVs) from group partners Electric Circuit and Groupe Crevier, in Beloeil. It will be used as a real living laboratory to test new charging technologies as well as additional services, such as dynamic pricing.
K Group intends to boost Finland’s electric car charging infrastructure by 50% by 2019. The solar power producer will install 400 charge points for electric cars and plug-in hybrids at 70 outlets of convenience chain K-Store across the country.
