Two major US traffic equipment suppliers, Eberle Design (EDI) and The Traffic Group (TTG), have formed an alliance that aims to provide state DOTS and other agencies with customised real-time traffic data.
Announced at the recent ITS America annual meeting, they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, creating a strategic alliance to provide a suite of EDI privately-labelled custom products to TTG’s customers in the traffic data collection and planning market sector.

US smart parking company IPS Group (IPS), has extended its fully-integrated smart parking solutions with Park Smarter, a mobile payment app that can be used before the car is even parked. The app’s Parking Finder tool locates available parking, and payment can be made using Visa Checkout which eliminates the need to enter card information or billing address in the app.

Signal Group is launching a new traffic control product, called the C5000 intersection control system, here at Intertraffic. The company says it has taken its proven US technology from the ATC line of traffic controllers and SG line of safety monitors and created an all-in-one unit.
