Parking technology business APT Skidata has teamed up with UK parking operators CitiPark in a trial which aims to reduce emissions in car parks, building on an eight-year relationship that has seen APT Skidata’s technology at 12 of CitiPark’s 15 sites.
Parking solutions provider APT Skidata, a joint venture of Swarco and Skidata, has launched SWAPPAccess, a ticketless parking solution that enables customers to plan, park and pay for parking, whether on-street or off-street, through a dedicated mobile app.
Using APT Skidata’s hosted payments solutions and smartphone applications, drivers set up an account via the app with their payment details stored through a secure portal. Before embarking on a journey, registered users can access parking availability

Combining APT Skidata’s Service Help Desk and Technical Support, the new Customer Care Department is headed by Helen Hunt, a former sales service manager at Schneider Electric where she led a
SwappAccess, APT Skidata’s ticketless parking solution enables drivers to plan, park and pay for on- and off-street parking through a mobile app. It can also be used to create a virtual car park for on street parking, enabling councils to bring together multiple sites into one parking management system to offer seamless parking across all facilities.
