Tuff kerbing system
Impact Recovery Systems has announced the Tuff Curb XLP, a low-profile high-performance kerbing system designed to withstand damaging high-speed, high-impact applications. Made from solid-coloured, UV-resistant, high-density polyethylene it is designed to withstand 20,000lb of static pressure, double the federal single axle vehicle maximum for a single wheel. In addition, Tuff Curb XLP has been tested by The Texas Transportation Institute to 2009 MASH standards.

TopLED Black Series extended
Osram Opto Semiconductors has added three colours to its TopLED Black Series portfolio. They are now available not only in red and yellow, but also blue, green, and orange. The company says the LEDs are particularly suitable for monochromatic and multicolour displays, such as those in electronic road signs, travel information displays, parking control systems and price information pillars at fuel stations.

Upgraded RFID windshield tag
KSW Microtec and Metalcraft have announced availability of Metalcraft's RFID windshield tag that delivers extended read range, memory and privacy for vehicle applications including automated vehicle tracking and access control. The upgraded performance comes from a new KSW Microtec WindSpeed RFID inlay featuring the Impinj Monza 4 RFID tag chip family. The passive RFID label provides a read range over 10m and supports 496 bits of EPC memory and 512 bits of user memory.
