E.on clients in Sweden who purchase a Uniti electric car (EC) will be provided with five years’ worth of charging through solar cells at home, as part of a new partnership between the two companies that aims to create a sustainable source of energy for charging. The ECs are expected for delivery in 2019. Uniti will launch the new product line at its production facility on the 7 December which is expected to host two thousand guests as well as exhibitions from partner companies. Tulsa-based OmniAir consortium has certified two devices for tolling interoperability from Star Systems International (SSI). The Vektra Windshield Sticker Tag and Solana Passive Transponder can be mounted on either a vehicle’s windscreen or headlamp. Enel X has will make its electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in Rome, Italy, available to drivers signed-up to Evway by Route2020 app. The interoperability agreement is intended to make charging easier for customers of the integrated services company.
According to Enel X, app users will be able to access the location of its stations, the power available, the type of outlet and recharging procedures. The company’s Enel X’s Quick (22 kW) stations will be available in urban areas while its Fast (50 kW)
