Jenoptik Traffic Solutions to supply speed enforcement systems to Hong Kong
The Traffic Solutions division of Jenoptik has announced it will be supplying over 30 installations, consisting of a mix of fixed, tunnel and mobile speed enforcement applications in the Tsing Ma and Tsing Sha Control Areas. Traficon incident detection technology deployed in Dartford tunnel
Traficon has been awarded a contract to provide 70 VIP-IP video image processing boards for installation in the Dartford tunnel on London’s M25 orbital motorway. euroFOT study demonstrates benefits of driver assistance systems
Today, the euroFOT consortium published the findings of a four-year study focused on the impact of driver assistance systems in the Europe. Anti-graffiti coating for traffic equipment
Siemens has launched a new low-cost coating for traffic controllers and signals which provides lasting protection against dirt and acts as an anti-graffiti barrier, making it difficult to attach posters or write on the protected surface. Traficon technology for Stockholm road tunnels
Video detection specialist Traficon has been awarded a contract to provide video image processors for traffic monitoring inside the Södra Länken and Norra Länken tunnels in Stockholm, Sweden. BMW and Toyota collaborate

Federal Signal Technologies (FSTech) has been awarded a three year back office system and operations contract by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDoT). White Plains opts for TransCore solution
The city of White Plains in New York is deploying a new SCATS-based adaptive traffic signal control system from TransCore. Over $13 billion to be invested in ITS in six years

Q-Free wins in Portugal and Brazil
Portuguese road operator Ascendi has awarded Q-Free a five year service and maintenance contract, valued at over US$15 million, related to tolling infrastructure deployed in Beiras Litoral e Alta and Interior Norte concessions. Meanwhile, in Brazil, Q-Free has been awarded an order for tags and roadside equipment from Centro Gestao Meios de Pagto (CGMP) in Brazil valued at US$8.68 million. CS ETC project in Chile inaugurated
CS Communication & Systèmes has announced the inauguration of the first Fast ETC lanes which the company developed on the A5 Expressway (Ruta Del Maipo) linking Puerto Montt in South Chile with Santiago Del Chile.
