Three new contracts in Spain for Indra
Intra is to implement the intelligent transport systems (ITS) on Spain’s AC-14 highway as well as participating in the systems maintenance at Madrid management centre and providing support and technical assistance to the automated traffic ticket processing centre, following the award of three new contracts valued at US$19.8 million. Siemens completes installation of new LED streetlights for US town
Siemens has recently completed installation of more than 550 LED streetlights and floodlights in the Town of Hamilton, Massachusetts, on behalf of Metropolitan Area Planning Council, (MAPC). The full project installation is expected to result in at least US$25,000 in annual energy and maintenance savings for the town, reduce energy usage by 60 per cent compared to existing streetlights, and provide citizens with clearer lighting conditions to improve visibility and safety. Cubic partners with IBI to deliver integrated ITS across Scotland
Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS), in partnership with IBI Group, has been awarded a contract by Transport Scotland to deliver an integrated intelligent transportation systems (ITS) service across Scotland's trunk road network. The contract extends Cubic's 20-year history of delivering services to the region and, according to Cubic, will support the delivery of the Traffic Scotland functionality on all of the major road construction schemes.

Moxa technology helps to speed up troubleshooting
Moxa is giving operators such as transit authorities the chance to speed up troubleshooting of their traffic signalling and CCTV systems by allowing them to modify existing infrastructure rather than having to lay new cables. This will allow them to improve urban mobility, reducing system downtime and lowering costs, the company says.

BumpRecorder of Japan will be at the 2015 ITS World Congress with an innovative system that can evaluate road roughness, using only a smartphone. PayiQ exhibits Mobility as a Service
What is claimed to be the world’s first Mobility as a Service solution, PayiQ, can be viewed on the ITS Finland stand.
