Nexcom makes routes more efficient for Asian bus agency
Nexcom is highlighting how a bus agency in Asia is using the Nexcom VMC 3001 to provide real-time schedule and arrival information to riders at its booth at ITS America San Jose. The solution acquires vehicle telematics data from buses in the field and feeds the information to stations around the city. Indra to expand bus lane monitoring system in Santiago, Chile

Indiana pilots technology for overweight vehicle enforcement

Dublin Tunnel gets average speed enforcement
Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) is working with the4 Irish police force, An Garda Síochána, on the installation of Ireland’s first average speed camera enforcement system, which will be deployed in the Dublin Port Tunnel. Opened in 2006, the 4.5 km tunnel forms part of the M50 C-Ring road around Dublin City. Traffic levels through the tunnel have increased by 40 per cent over the last five years and as a result there is statistically, an increase in the potential for collisions and accidents.

Following a successful integration period, Vysionics ITS, the UK-based ANPR and average speed enforcement specialists acquired in November 2014 by Jenoptik Traffic solutions, has changed its name to Jenoptik Traffic Solutions UK.
