Swedish bus operator 4300 Nobina has ordered 13 electric 609 Volvo buses, which will operate in Malmö from the end of next year.

The new buses are the Volvo 7900 Electric model. The bus batteries will be fast-charged at the route's end stops via the open interface OppCharge (opportunity charging), a process that takes between three and six minutes.
