Successful first day for MaaS Market Conference

ITS International’s Maas Market conference opened this morning to a packed crowd of over 200 delegates at the Inmarsat Conference Centre in London.

ITS International’s 8545 Maas Market conference opened this morning to a packed crowd of over 200 delegates at the Inmarsat Conference Centre in London.

In her opening keynote speech, Anne Berner, Minister of Transport and Communications, Government of Finland, spoke of the role of governments in facilitating MaaS and the implications for central government policies and funding.

MaaS Market Conference continues tomorrow, 23 March, at 1000 with the opening keynote speech by Michael Hurwitz, Director of Transport Innovation, 1466 Transport for London, who will discuss MaaS in major cities: its potential and obstacles to progress.

    Self-driving bus collides with pedestrian in Vienna
    A self-driving bus trial in the Austrian capital Vienna has been halted after a collision between a vehicle and pedestrian, says Bloomberg. Authorities are now investing the cause of the incident which led to minor injuries.     Waymo scraps AV operations in Austin
    Waymo is closing its operations in the US city of Austin following an increase in investment in the Detroit and Phoenix areas.
