This year’s 6456 ITS World Congress is providing an opportunity for start-ups to shine on an international stage.  Applications close on Friday 11 July.

Transportation for Tomorrow: Investors and Inventors is a two-part program that will give high-tech transportation start-ups a spot on the show floor to demonstrate their most innovative ideas and technologies as a part of the Entrepreneurial Village and the chance to pitch their ideas as participants in the Investor Matching Event.

Sponsored by 1072 Fontinalis Partners and 6692 Econolite Group the Investor Matching Event will bring their premier financial and strategic investment expertise to the table to hear from young and dynamic companies and entrepreneurs that possess cutting-edge ideas in sustainability, safety, and mobility in transportation.

Start-ups interested in participating in Transportation for Tomorrow’s Investor Matching Event are required to submit a business plan for evaluation, and the selected innovators will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to Fontinalis and Econolite in Detroit this September.

The International Programme Committee says submissions must be centred around themes and sub-topics such as crowdsourcing and big data analytics, cybersecurity and data privacy, innovative pricing and travel demand management and intelligent, connected and autonomous vehicles. Entries can also be based on the multimodal transport of people and goods, safety for drivers
