ChargePoint to provide EV chargers at Morrisons stores
ChargePoint Services is to install its GeniePoint Network electric vehicle (EV) chargers across all Morrisons supermarkets in the UK.
ChargePoint says its 50-100kW rapid chargers will allow customers to refuel their EV in around 20 minutes.
The firm’s managing director Alex Bamberg says: “By offering another useful local service, customers are provided with choice for grocery, café and comfort stops, and green vehicle refuelling.”

ChargePoint says its 50-100kW rapid chargers will allow customers to refuel their EV in around 20 minutes.

ChargePoint is not the only company introducing chargers at UK supermarkets. Protesters in France have put more than half of the country’s speed cameras out of action, according to the country’s authorities.
Interior minister Christophe Castaner said that almost 60% of France’s 3,200 cameras have been affected, the BBC reports.
Castaner said that the cameras had been “neutralised, attacked, or destroyed” by ‘yellow vest’ protesters in a move which threatened road safety.

US-based Verra Mobility has partnered with motorway operator APRR to provide toll management services in France.
David Roberts, CEO of Verra, says: "Initially, we will be focusing on providing toll services to our rental car company partners throughout France.”
The partnership will allow Verra to expand to other countries to make travel in Europe more connected, Roberts adds.
