OmniAir Consortium and Wi-Fi Alliance to cooperate on DSRC certification
The OmniAir Consortium has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Wi-Fi Alliance to cooperate on certification for 5.9 GHz Wave equipment. OmniAir will focus on certifying the upper layers of the Wave protocol stack and will require Wi-Fi certification for the MAC and PHY layers.
