Third eCall testfest announced
The third eCall testfest event, organised by Ertico-ITS Europe and ETSI, will be held from 27 to 31 October 2014 in Vigo, Spain, hosted by CTAG in cooperation with CETECOM. Subscribers to OEM telematics in Western Europe to exceed 42 million by 2019

Volvo cars equipped with park and pay parking solution
Volvo Cars’ new on-board infotainment and navigation solution, Sensus Connect, now has an integrated EasyPark Park&Pay solution that allows drivers to find and pay for parking from inside the car. Auto-braking cars: government should meet motorists halfway
A UK Government incentive for drivers buying cars with anti-crash technology would save 60 lives and result in 760 fewer serious casualties reported to the police, in just three years. Informal agreement reached on infrastructure upgrade for eCall
European Parliament and council negotiators have reached agreement on upgrading existing eCall receiving infrastructure to be able to respond to calls from eCall devices in cars.
