The company claims the emitter delivers the advantages of LED technology, including more consistent performance over the life of the product and 90 per cent less power consumption. It is designed to be used with any of the installed base of Opticom Infrared Systems.

The Model RC790 remote coding unit works with the LED emitter, offering a convenient way to set up secure coding, perform configuration and run diagnostics. With a range of up to 8m, the remote coding unit eliminates the need to directly access the emitter in often hard-to-reach locations on a vehicle.
