Cisco appoints Mark Garrett to board of directors

Cisco has appointed Mark Garrett to its board of directors effective immediately. His contributions, according to Chuck Robbins Cisco's chairman and chief executive officer, follows the company's plans to advance in its transition to drive more subscriptions and recurring revenue. Garrett, former Adobe Systems executive vice president (EVP) and chief financial officer (CFO), is also on the board of directors at GoDaddy and Pure Storage. 1028 Cisco has appointed Mark Garrett to its board of directors effective immediately. His contributions, according to Chuck Robbins Cisco's chairman and chief executive officer, follows the company's plans to advance in its transition to drive more subscriptions and recurring revenue.

Garrett, former Adobe Systems executive vice president (EVP) and chief financial officer (CFO), is also on the board of directors at GoDaddy and Pure Storage. In addition, he has experience of leadership in finance and accounting in the technology industry. Garrett previously served as senior vice president and CFO of the software group of EMC and before that as EVP and CFO of Documentum.
