915 Arecont Vision's new model AV2805 camera provides full High-Definition (HD) video with 1920x1080 pixels (2.07 megapixels) at 30fps. The new model complements the company's new AV10005 series of 10 megapixel/1080p dual-mode cameras by offering a single standardised 1080p mode, along with otherwise similar features, at a more competitive price point.

Available in colour, day/night and colour auto-iris versions, the AV2805 offers selectable H.264 or MJPEG compression to best suit a wide range of applications. Users can digitally pan, tilt and zoom live with multiple zoom windows while recording the full field of view in full HD 1080p. Post-event forensic zooming is also possible from archives to extract recorded details.
