Vysionics ITS renamed Jenoptik Traffic Solutions UK

Following a successful integration period, Vysionics ITS, the UK-based ANPR and average speed enforcement specialists acquired in November 2014 by Jenoptik Traffic solutions, has changed its name to Jenoptik Traffic Solutions UK. All products and services will now be now offered under the Jenoptik brand. Following a successful integration period, 604 Vysionics ITS, the UK-based ANPR and average speed enforcement specialists acquired in November 2014 by 79 Jenoptik Traffic solutions, has changed its name to Jenoptik Traffic Solutions UK. All products and services will now be now offered under the Jenoptik brand.

Vysionics was most well known for providing its SPECS average speed enforcement solutions, which have to date been installed at more than 70 permanent and 350 temporary locations across the UK.  More recently, the Vector integrated ANPR camera has proved highly successful, with over 1,500 cameras delivered to date.  Demonstrating the benefits of being part of Jenoptik, SPECS and Vector cameras are now being delivered around the world, with systems operating in Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australasia.

    Jenoptik’s TraffiSection receives type approval in Germany
    Jenoptik’s average speed control system has received type approval to be used in an 18-month trial on a stretch of highway in Lower Saxony, Germany. Jenoptik’s TraffiSection, which is laser-based, has been approved by PTB (Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt) and is supported by the Ministry of Interior of Lower Saxony.
