7792 Matrix Vision’s mvBlueCougar-XD family of dual GigE vision cameras include a wide range of high-end CCD sensors from 576 Sony with resolutions up to 12 megapixels and CMOS sensors from CMOSIS up to 4 megapixels; up to 12-bit ADC.

It has an adjustable flange and is able to control a motorised lens or a video iris. In June, the range will be extended with a new version fitted with a 2.3 megapixels global shutter Sony CMOS sensors.

Besides slow motion capturing, the camera features de-noising via frame averaging, high dynamic range imaging and burst mode acquisitioning thanks to the 256MB image memory. It has four opto-isolated digital inputs with current limiters and four high-side solid state relay outputs.

Gardasoft is demonstrating how to capture high-quality images of fast-moving vehicles using an innovative liquid lens concept. This, the company says, provides significant performance benefits over traditional, fixed-focus lenses. Many ITS applications require vision systems which can cope with widely varying distances between object and camera. A challenge in the ITS space is the high speeds which can be encountered, particularly in free-flowing traffic. Gardasoft’s approach features a shape-changing

Vicon Industries has introduced its VN-901T single-channel video encoder, which converts NTSC or PAL video from any analogue camera into an ONVIF-compliant video stream that can be integrated into most IP video management systems, including ViconNet VMS. The device transmits H.264 high-profile, MPEG-4 and M-JPEG video compression formats with dual streaming. All camera features are supported through the encoder, including PTZ. The device may be powered by either PoE or 12V DC/24V AC. Two alarm inputs, on
