Three countries opt for Jenoptik Robot

Jenoptik Robot has won contracts worth US$5.4 million to deploy its stationary and mobile systems to monitor and measure average speeds on roads in Switzerland, Austria and a Middle Eastern country.

Jenoptik Robot has won contracts worth US$5.4 million to deploy its stationary and mobile systems to monitor and measure average speeds on roads in Switzerland, Austria and a Middle Eastern country. The projects are to be completed by late 2010/early 2011. Jenoptik has already been represented in all three countries with traffic monitoring systems for many years.

    99 out of every 100 vehicles are now complying with the speed limit along a section of the A90 between Dundee and Stonehaven where Jenoptik’s Average Speed Cameras (ASC) have been installed, according to speed surveys carried out by Transport Scotland.
