
Econolite and PTV Group, united under the brand Umovity, will showcase their comprehensive and integrated suite of intelligent mobility software and hardware solutions at this year’s ITS World Congress. This includes Econolite’s award-winning, AI-powered Autoscope OptiVu HD video sensor solution.
Experts from Econolite and PTV Group will deliver live, in-booth demonstrations of Umovity’s integrated solutions, including the cloud-based Centracs Mobility with PTV Flows, Econolite’s EOS traffic controller firmware, and PTV Vissim. In addition, Umovity experts will share insights from recent mobility projects and deployments, including work in the city of Hamburg, Germany.
Umovity will also have a strong presence in the technical program. Christian U Haas, CEO of Umovity, will participate as a panellist in the IF2: Next-Generation Traffic Management and CCAM Integration forum, alongside other international experts discussing the future of cooperative, connected, and automated mobility. Abbas Mohaddes, Chairman of Umovity, will join the SIS22: Enhancing Situational Awareness via Multi-Faceted Traveller Information Systems session, addressing industry challenges in improving situational awareness.
Several other members of the Umovity team will also contribute to the technical sessions. Luca Paone, PTV Principal Product Manager, will present in session PS18: Data and AI Tools – Part 2, and session PS27: Traffic Data Analysis. David Spinney, Vice President at Econolite, will speak in session PS23: Sustainable and Digital Infrastructure. Uwe Reiter, Project Director at PTV Group, will participate in session PS24: Next-Generation Transportation Systems. Matthias Pfriem, Senior Product Manager at PTV Group, will share insights in session PS32: Advancing Vehicle Automation: Data Insights and Simulation Techniques.
