The company is launching its robust and unobtrusive RedflexAnpr high definition automatic number plate recognition system. Saying it is ideal for a wide range of applications from car park monitoring and restricted lane monitoring to tolling, travel time monitoring and surveillance.
La Semaforica is at Intertraffic with a trio of new products, from a traffic controller that can be operated from a smartphone, to a rugged and smart pedestrian crossing activation device. Cartesio is a traffic controller which incorporates the Linux open architecture operating system. It can be remotely controlled via tablet or smartphone and is suitable for use in extreme climatic conditions.
Two new joint venture companies were introduced to the industry at Intertraffic yesterday. They were created by P&D Specialist Services and Bartco Traffic Equipment in an initiative aimed at tackling new international markets. The first joint venture company is Bartco UK which will be Europe’s first manufacturer of portable, solar-powered, five-colour matrix variable message signs, according to the firm.
