Surveillance video standards organisation the HDcctv Alliance will host a technology and product Gallery at Security China 2014, in Beijing 28-31October.

Hyperlopp Transportation Technologies will implement a Hyperloop system in China which will start with a 10km commercial agreement at Tongren, a prefecture-level city in eastern Guizhou Province. Hyperloop says the system will help connect the region to the rest of the world.
The project stems from an agreement with the tourist attraction investor Tongren Transportation & Tourism Investment.
HyperloopTT will provide the technology, engineering and equipment as well as work with the city’s government
Keolis Shanghai will maintain and operate the new tramway in the Songjiang District of Shanghai, China. The first phase of the network is expected to transport 170,000 passengers per day from 25 December. The five-year project stems from an agreement with Songjiang Tramway. For the first portion of the network, 30 Citadis trams made by Alstom will operate across 30 stations. The entire 31km tramway is scheduled to be complete in mid-2019 and is expected to serve as a mobility solution for 1.8m inhabitants
China’s Guangzhou Owleye Optoelectronic Technology is showing its new solar-powered traffic cone light, which aims to improve safety when warnings must be given to drivers of roadworks or other potential dangers.
To ensure maximum flexibility with an operator’s existing equipment, the new light has a stainless steel ring that can be installed directly on to any size of traffic cone.
