Xerox is showcasing its latest transportation innovations in on- and off-street parking, photo enforcement and mobility management here at the ITS World Congress. On display at the Xerox booth is Merge, an analytics-based parking management system, and 360SmartView, an advanced safety e-screening solution.
Flir Systems’ next webinar on 16 February at 0700 CEST provides an introduction to its TrafiOne detection sensor for traffic monitoring and dynamic traffic signal control. TrafiOne uses thermal imaging to detect the presence of pedestrians and cyclists that are approaching and waiting at the kerbside or walking on the crossing.

The Living Lab Bus joint project, coordinated VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and launched at the beginning of 2016, is using Finnish electric buses acquired by Helsinki Region Transport as tangible development and testing platforms for businesses to validate their solutions in a real use environment. The buses can be used for testing user-oriented smart services and technologies, ranging from user interfaces and passenger services to sensors and transport operators’ solutions.
