Smart+ enforcement camera from Tattile

Smart+ can identify red-light violations through image analysis, as well as illegal turns and vehicle tracking via its Stark software. The Italian manufacturer says the product has evolved from a pure automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) device to an AI-powered vehicle identification system, which can monitor all passing traffic even when the red-light violation mode is active.

    Sensys Gatso Group has received an additional order for in-vehicle speed enforcement systems valued at €700,000 (US$768,500) from France. The order is a continuation of the project that Sensys Gatso Group started in 2013 and is scheduled to be delivered during the second quarter 2016.     TISPOL has released the results of a pan-European speed control operation in August, which shows that more than 600,000 drivers were detected for breaking speed limits. A total of 29 countries took part in the operation. Of the final total of 605,523 detections, 189,432 were made directly by police officers and 416,091 came from automatic technical means.
