An innovative intelligent bicycle parking system has been named the overall winner of the 2014 Intertraffic Innovation Awards. Entered by HR Groep Traffic & Signing, the MB Track & Trace system - which is being trialed in Rotterdam – also won the Smart Mobility section and beat off the other category winners (ITS/Traffic Management; Parking; Safety; and Infrastructure) to claim the award.

The Royal Borough of Greenwich in London has rolled out Adaptis Solutions’ dash park cashless parking solution across ten car parks and seventy off street locations throughout the borough, offering motorists an alternative to the pay and display machines already in operation. Motorists now have the option to register their vehicle to the dash platform and pay by phone, text, mobile web or through a smartphone application.
Parking data solutions provider Case Parking comes to the World Congress buoyed by its contract with Norwalk Parking Authority, Connecticut, to implement smart parking in the city.
The contract, a three-way partnership that includes sensor-based smart parking technology provider Streetline, will provide visitors and residents with real-time occupancy data and guidance to available spaces for on and off-street parking in the city’s urban areas.
