Following the success of the 2011 ITS Video Competition held at the European ITS Congress in Lyon, France, submissions are now being invited for this year’s competition which will culminate at the ITS World Congress, being held in Vienna, Austria, from 22-26 October, 2012.
Gridsmart Technologies and Wave Mobile Solutions are hosting a DSRC V2X Vision Zero demo during ITS America 2016 San Jose that will show how intelligent technology can be used to prevent traffic incidents, improve safety for vehicles and pedestrians, and identify problematic locations.
The International Road Federation (IRF) Student Essay Competition is an annual contest held to recognise promising road research. Open to all students attending an IRF member university in good-standing as well as IRF Fellows currently enrolled as full time students, the 2013 competition is now under way. It is an excellent way to help to steer the younger generation in the right direction for the future, while accomplishing significant research at the same time.
