SVS-Vistek will be highlighting its SVCam-HR series at Intertraffic Amsterdam which feature the new Python 25 MP CMOS sensor from On Semi and imaging rates of up to 80 fps via a CoaXPress interface. Available in monochrome or colour versions, they can be fitted either with a Camera Link or a Gigabit Ethernet interface. The company claims the SVCam-HR series are amongst the most compact camera modules in their class on the world market and do not require any external cooling thanks to their intelligent heat
The Vaisala road weather system deployed by Idaho Transportation Department has won a "Best New Innovative Product, Service or Application for 2013" award at the 2013 National Rural ITS Conference in St Cloud, Minnesota. The award highlights new technology that furthers the development and/or deployment of rural intelligent transportation systems (ITS) applications, as well as specific and measurable outcomes that result from the product or service.

Jenoptik’s Specs Average Speed Enforcement Cameras have been installed between Junction 5 of the M65 near Belthorn though to A56 at Haslingden, following The Lancashire Road Safety Partnership’s plan to reduce casualties and collisions across chosen routes. The cameras are also designed with the intention of influencing driver behavior to create smoother traffic flows. Average Speed Check Signs are also being used throughout the route to ensure that drivers are aware that their speed is being monitored.
