    Los Angeles Metrolink's mobile ticketing app, which allows passengers the option to purchase tickets on a smartphone, tablet or other mobile device, is now available for all Metrolink trips, including trips connecting to Los Angeles Union Station.     La Semaforica is at Intertraffic with a trio of new products, from a traffic controller that can be operated from a smartphone, to a rugged and smart pedestrian crossing activation device. Cartesio is a traffic controller which incorporates the Linux open architecture operating system. It can be remotely controlled via tablet or smartphone and is suitable for use in extreme climatic conditions.
  • Fluor chosen for LA International Airport Automated People Mover

    Fluor Corporation (Fluor) has been chosen to lead the design-build joint venture team to operate and maintain the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Automated People Mover project for the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA). It aims to provide passengers and employees with reliable and time-certain access to the airline terminals with the design and construction commencing later this year. The passenger service is scheduled for 2023.
