    Euro NCAP has revealed its 2025 Roadmap for car safety, highlighting child presence detection (CPD) systems as essential technology. Both the US and Europe are pushing to make CPD systems mandatory in new vehicles to prevent tragic accidents involving children.

    Aisin Corporation is here to showcase its CPD system which uses advanced radar technology to detect people, even with minimal movement. The system employs a single multifunctional millimetre-wave sensor to monitor the vehicle’s interior, detecting infants or children left behind and alerting the vehicle’s user.
