  • Mobile on the spot parking enforcement

    Swedish parking equipment manufacturer Cale Group has announced its acquisition of the Dutch Redline mobile enforcement solution, a paper-free solution built on embedded Oracle technology, which enables mobile enforcement officers to issued digital fixed-penalty notices for offences such as parking violations, and process fines. The company will develop and market the Redline system from its newly-acquired office in Woerden, in the Netherlands.
  • Car2go launches electric car-sharing service in Paris

    Car-share platform Car2go will launch in Paris in January 2019. The Daimler-owned company will start with 400 electric Smart EQ fortwo cars and says it expects to operate several hundred more in the French capital over the course of next year. “Paris offers ideal conditions for our free-floating car-sharing principle. I’m certain that Paris will become a very successful Car2go location,” says Car2go CEO Olivier Repper. Car2go’s service also has fully-electric fleets in three other European cities:
  • Complimentary IRF certified training courses open to all Intertraffic visitors

    The International Road Federation (IRF) will have a stand (01-604) at Intertraffic Amsterdam and will also be hosting Complimentary Training Workshops during the event on April 6 and 7, 2016. IRF also will be conducting an ITS Committee Meeting on Wednesday April 6, 2016 from 8:30am to 10:00am and a Road Safety Committee Meeting on Thursday April 7 from 8:30am to 10:00am. Everyone is welcome to attend.

    The impact of the ongoing coronavirus outbreak worldwide has forced the organisers of Intertraffic Amsterdam to delay next month’s show until next year.
