    In order to reduce the number of road fatalities over a ten-year period, the Zambian Government has awarded Kapsch a contract with Lamise Trading for the installation of traffic systems to increase road safety.   • Groupe PSA pilots Free2Move app in Seattle

    Mobility solutions provider Groupe PSA is to launch its Free2Move smartphone app in Seattle – the first such application in the US. The mobility solutions app interacts with a range of car and bike sharing providers allowing users to compare location, characteristics and operating costs of available transportation options, including offerings from Car2Go, Zipcar then TravelCar. Several bike sharing services such as Ofo Bike, Lime Bike and Spin Bike will be added over the next 60 days.
  • Tritium delivers high power charges for EVs to Germany

    Tritium has delivered 12 high-power chargers (HPCs) to Germany to provide electric vehicles (EVs) with 350 kW of power and a 150km range in five minutes. These HPCs have been implemented at Tank & Rest stops at Brohltal Ost and West, either side of the A61 highway. The deployment is part of a project led by joint venture Ionity to establish a pan-European network of 400 HPC stations so drivers will be able to find a station within 120km.
