Antaira Technologies says its IMP-C100-XX series, a compact industrial Ethernet-to-fibre PoE+ media converter, is designed to fulfil industrial applications which require fibre optic distance extension while using minimal space. The IMP-C100-XX series features a 10/100TX Ethernet port and a fixed fibre interface which supports ST or SC connectors, depending on the model. Both multi-mode and single-mode models are available to support applications with a range of fibre distances and types.
The sale of nearly 100 percent of PTV Planung Transport Verkehr (PTV), Karlsruhe, to Porsche Automobil Holding (Porsche SE), Stuttgart, announced in June, has now been completed. PTV provides software for traffic planning and management and transport logistics.
Netherlands-based fleet management company LeasePlan Corporation is to become a founding partner of EV100, a new major global transport initiative designed to fast-track the uptake of electric vehicles among corporate companies. LeasePlan will also transition its own employee fleet to electric cars.
